Solution Since we registered the domain name for you, even though you have cancelled the hosting account with us, it is still our responsibility to make the domain name available to you to renew. The notice you received was only a reminder that your domain name is coming up for expiration.

If you no longer wish to keep the domain, please let us know and we can let it expire, but we are still required to send you a notice 5 days before the name expires per ICANN rules. If you wish to renew a domain name that is not hosted with us, please contact us to arrange payment so we can renew the domain name for you and not have it expire. Contact info is available at http://www.your-site.com/support.html

If you do not contact us, we will not renew the domain name. You will continue to receive reminder notices about the domain expiration until it expires.
