Why does my CGI script give me an internal server error?
Why does my CGI script give me an internal server error?
Solution
Make sure the permissions on the script are set to 755. There could also be some syntax error in the code, or the script could be incompatible with our servers. It is also important that you upload CGI scripts in ASCII mode and that you have the correct path to perl, if it is a perl script. The path to perl is /usr/bin/perl.
We currently do not offer support on 3rd party CGI scripts, meaning if you need help with a script you didn't get from us, you should either contact the author of the script, or post a question in our Member's Forum at
