Solution
A domian name an address on the internet. Each website on the internet has an IP address, which is a made up of a collection of numbers. IP address are usually seen like 140.186.45.2. Instead of having to remember long IP addresses to view websites, domain names make it easy to remember websites. Domain names are a word or words that are assigned to an IP address so it is easier to remember, such as your-site.com. It is much easier to type in
www.your-site.com
in a web browser, then have to remember the IP address.
